This portal provides information across the African continent, not specifically for Liberia. Africa weather and climate data are available and free of charge, in digital image format (PNG, GIF):
- Rainfall data at the West African scale are available: daily and running totals (for a different period like 180 days) and anomalies are available.
- Continental weather forecasts for temperature, precipitation and wind.
- Surface observations, analyses and monitoring analyses for Africa are delivered about meteorological variables such as temperature, wind direction and intensity, seasonal or monthly rainfall estimates (adjacent figure), Intertropical Front movement, El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO), monsoon fluxes or droughts.
- Satellite precipitation monitoring at a national and sub-regional scale
